Telecommunicator (9-1-1 Dispatcher)

Our Telecommunicators (911 Dispatchers) respond to emergency and non-emergency calls at the City’s public safety communications center and dispatch law enforcement, fire, and/or rescue to the person in need.
The City of Naples is currently offering a $2,000 sign on bonus for in addition to the many great benefits we provide.
9-1-1 Call Takers and Dispatchers
The City of St. Petersburg Police Department is hiring 911 Call Takers and Dispatchers. The agency is currently offering a $1,500 hiring bonus and higher starting pay to applicants with previous ECC experience or who already hold Florida 911 PST Certification. St. Petersburg PD has a state-of-the-art communications center, including brand-new sit-stand consoles. They also have regular therapy dog visits!
AOCC Specialist
The Airport Operations Control Center (AOCC) supports daily operations at Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) and Page Field General Aviation Airport (FMY). The AOCC ensures situational awareness is sustained for airport operations, maintenance, contracts, airport police, fire/medical officials, airport security, tenants, airlines, federal agencies, the general public, and various departments and leadership throughout the Lee County Port Authority.
The AOCC Specialist is an entry-level position who performs emergency services dispatch duties and provides a real-time, common, operational communication and coordination enabling continuous situational awareness and seamless facilitation for the transfer of passengers, baggage, aircraft and vehicles, with an emphasis on the customer experience.
