Each year, we take a moment during our conference to pause, reflect, and honor those in our 9-1-1 community who are no longer with us—but whose impact continues to shape this profession.
We are now accepting submissions for the 2026 Silent Key Remembrance.
This tribute recognizes Public Safety Telecommunicators, leaders, ECC/PSAP staff, and industry partners who have passed within the last year. Their service, dedication, and influence deserve to be remembered—not just for what they did, but for how they made this profession better for those who continue the work.
The key to our future is our people—but it is built on those who came before us.
